September Release!

This month's release from Brutus Monroe was one that really got me excited! There are not only amazing stamps as always, but a few of them that have some extra special meaning behind them! I love using stamps that I know will encourage and inspire others, and I certainly believe these will!

These first two cards are made with stamps from the new series, "When I Grow Up". This series is going to feature girls in all sorts of different career fields. The first two stamps are an ASTRONAUT and a SCIENTIST. What a great way to show girls that they can reach for their dreams! The background behind the scientist stamp was created with the new stencil called, ARROW. I did a little ink blending over this stencil and love how it turned out! There are also three other stencils in this release, and these new stencils are amazing because they have no border, the design goes right off the side of the stencil. This feature makes it easier to build repeating designs with your stencils!

This next set with snowmen, called SNOW FRIENDS, is so fun with these four adorable snowmen, sentiment, and a good number of snowflake images. I did not use the snowflakes on this card, but all four snowmen are stamped and colored here with my STYLEFILE MARKERS

Now this cat stamp set, CAT LIFE, is just pure fun! There are a number of great cat images and this little mouse playing the banjo. Perfect for building scenes for that cat-loving friend we all have! I love how the mouse is so happy and the cat has a grumpy look on his face. Just makes me laugh!

This next card I also featured last week. This stamp set includes a chalkboard, a great number of classroom images, and some teacher inspired sentiments. This set, TINA'S CLASSROOM, is a 6x8 set and 100% of the sales from this set is going towards a cancer charity. If you would like all the details, please visit my POST FROM LAST WEEK

My last card for today is created with the new LIBRARY background stamp. This is another fabulous 6x6 stamp that is stunning all by itself. I simply stamped this image, colored it in with STYLEFILE MARKERS, and added a vellum banner with the sentiment stamped and embossed in gold.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed a look at all the new stamps. There are a few more stencils and other items available in this release as well, so please take a look in the store!

Until next time,
