Stamp Club- Dragon

The next upcoming stamp that will be shipping out to club members is this cute little dragon with a fun heart image and sentiment. 

I started by stamping the dragon out using RAVEN DETAIL INK. Then, when the ink was dry, I colored it in with my new STYLEFILE ALCOHOL MARKERS. These markers are fantastic! They blend beautifully, even for a beginner marker user like myself. After my image was colored in, I fussy cut him out. I also colored and cut a few hearts out, as well.

I then went to work on my background. I masked off a square in the middle of my cardstock using painter's tape, and then ink blended a few colors on using Distress Ink. I used some blues and yellows to coordinate with the coloring on the dragon. 

I then punched a circle out of white cardstock that I also embossed, using the new PETAL LACE EMBOSSING FOLDER. This just gave the circle a little more texture. I stamped the sentiment on a small rectangle and then arranged all my elements over the ink blended square and adhered them down. 

This turned out to be a very clean and simple card, but I love the bright colors and how the markers can coordinate to your inks!
