Velveteen Glaze with Opal Foil!
I LOVE shiny, shimmering, pretty things - and FOIL is at the top of that list! Opal is one of my favorite foils because it has a transparent back so it shows through whatever color is under it! Today, I am using Lima Bean Velveteen Glaze under the Opal foil for a beautiful, bright shimmery green for our background!

This month's Pet Parlor release has so many cute stamps and really pretty stencils! I used the Dazzling Drops Layering Stencils - it is perfect for this technique!
I started by ink blending two different shades of bluish purple for the two tear drop layers of the set. For the last layer, the dots, I spread a layer of the Lima Bean Velveteen Glaze over the stencil and let it dry. I LOVE this Lima Bean color - its so bright and pretty!

While that was drying, I colored the cute dog stamp from the Pet Parlor set and cut that out. To add a little bit of sparkle (because why not?!), I used a small brush and dabbed on some Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze on the dogs eyelids and bow!

Once the Velveteen Glaze was dry, I took out a piece of the Opal Deco Foil, and turned on my Fuse (you can use a Minc or a laminator too!) and let that heat up.

I put down my panel, with the Opal foil on top - pretty side facing up - and then put that into a carrier folder that came with my machine.

I ran that through my Fuse....and Voila!! Look at that shimmery goodness!

I did a little die cutting and embossing and used this background to make a darling dog card! I LOVE this month's release - it is so cute!!
