The Great Outdoors
Have you seen the Brutus Monroe Laser Cuts? This background was the perfect setting for these two imperfect pictures of my kids when they were babies. We had just gotten a flat tire after an Easter luncheon at my parents. My kids were able to wait in meadow behind my Grandfather's General Store. They loved playing in the grass so much they refused to pose. But this is the perfect backdrop for such a memory.
For the background I took an unfinished wood canvas and covered the entire thing with the Metallic Aqua Pigment - Arachnis. Brads were added the a roughed up piece of wood grain card stock. A little mandala was covered in Embossing Ink and Brutus Monroe Embossing Powder - Alabaster . I layered everything on top of the large Mandala including leaves that I used Brutus Monroe Foil Transfer Sheets 6"x12" sheets -Green Sketch.
