Let the Adventure Begin

Let the Adventure Begin

Who doesn't like an adventure?  Whether it be on a boat, a car or airplane.  But I find the best adventures to be my imagination.  I simply LOVE going to the movies and being lost in the whole experience.  The characters take to a place that I have never dreamed of and possibly could never go to in real life. When Brutus Monroe launched these new Laser Cuts I knew that I had an opportunity to try to capture such a moment.

The amazing thing with the Laser Cuts is there are several varities to choose from and they work so well with the Embossing Ink and Embossing Powders.  I just directly applied the Embossing Ink Pad to the Laser Cuts and then on a folded piece of paper applied the Embossing Powder - Raven Sparkle, then heat set it with the Heat Gun.  For this project I use the Embossing Powder - Raven Sparkle, and it is STUNNING in person.

Using Raven Detail Ink I stamped the Lace background stamp by Unity

Next using a pallet knife I applied Glizzer Glaze - Unicorn Horn to a star stencil I had on hand.

The Metallic Aqua Pigment - Delphinium  was the perfect accent to bring just a hint of color in highlighted areas on the piece.

I edged all of my surfaces with Surface Ink -Cornflower and  Raven Detail Ink.

To attach all of the pieces and crush glitter glass I used Brutus Monroe Glue.  This glue is simply amazing, it can handle with paper is a little wet, and no project is too small or too big.  To give a layered look the Brutus Monroe Foam Tape was the perfect way to give dimension where it was needed.

Are you ready for an adventure?
