Embossing Resist With Botanical Background
Linda here to share how to do Embossing Resist With Botanical Background.
Loving this Botanical Background stamp and thought I would share an old technique that is so fun to use. Embossing Resist With Botanical Background will make this so easy.
Tools used:
Botanical Background
Embossing Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
White card stock
Matching card stock mat
Scrap piece of white cardstock
Detail Ink - Raven
Sharon's Script - Happy Birthday
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists
White glue
ATG or other favorite Adhesive
Lace Trim
Ribbon
MISTI or Acrylic Stamp Block
Scissors
Using a piece of white card stock and the embossing ink. Stamp the Botanical Background. Emboss with clear powder. Spray with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Mop up excess spray.
Mount card topper onto coordinating card stock mat. Place lace along left side of newly matted layers. Fold over lace to back of mat and adhere with tape. Lay ribbon over the top of the lace. Adhere card topper to card foundation.
Stamp Happy Birthday from Sharon's Sentiments with Detail Ink - Raven on a scrap of white card stock. Trim down to about three and a half inches long and just slightly taller than the text. Cut end into a pennant with scissors. Adhere on top of card.
Tie a bow with the ribbon and glue into place. Here is a video of how this card was made.
The reason I chose the pinks to blues for this card was because I have a box of pink envelopes that I'm trying to use up. One more card done, thus one more envelope used.
