December Stamp of the Month and Fresh Cut Background Stamp
I used an hombre technique to stamp the background of an panel using Macchiato, Wagon, Terracotta and Sugar Cone Surface Inks. I masked off a section in the lower third of the panel with tape and inked it up with Machiato ink.
I stamped the Christmas light stamp four times on a piece of cardstock using Macchiato ink. Then I Copic colored them with E34 and E51, leaving the centers white and blending the colors out to the edges. I grabbed my Upper Case Alphabet Die Set and cut out the N, O, E and L from the centers of each bulb. Using my B|M Fussy Cutting Scissors, I cut out each bulb.
I glued a piece of scrap paper behind each of the bulbs and then colored the positive letter from the die cuts with an E54 Copper Copic. I glued the letters into the negative space on each bulb.
I popped up each bulb with some foam tape and adhered them along the front of the Macchiato inked strip. I adhered the entire panel to an A2 size Neenah Solar White card base. I finished it off by adding some Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the front of each bulb.
