Linda here to share a fun quick card. Birthday Wishes Card made with Scraps, these were things on my desk from other projects and I saw a beautiful birthday card in their future.
After completing a mini junk journal I had an image left over from Calico Collage Natures Glory digital journal kit. When I looked at the piece I saw a beautiful focal image for a card.
Knowing that I needed to do a stamp club project I also had all of the former stamp club stamps on my desk. Looking through the stamps I saw the Birthday Wishes and knew that I could create a pretty card.

Think outside the box when creating cards. Use things you have on hand, like scrapbook papers, photos or images that appeal to you. I used a page that was torn out of an old book. Don't worry it was a book I picked up at the thrift store and it isn't a "classic".
Other items I used, washi tape, a black and white ribbon, self adhesive rhinestones and a piece of waxed linen thread tied into a bow. The Brutus Monroe Craft Glue is a great adhesive for layering the papers, it doesn't add bulk or weight to the card.
The Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven makes the Birthday Wishes a beautiful crisp image on a paper banner.
Have fun with the things you already have in your stash and add things like the stamp club stamps to your shopping. Heck it's only $5.00 a month for a really cool stamp set.
Here are a few examples of cards I made with Stamp club Stamps.
