Choward's started in NYC in the 1930's, starting with the very popular Voilet's Mints and then onto the Scented Gum. Charles Howard wanted to make a "unique" and different kind of mints. And he most certainly did. Choward's Violet Mints have a floral flavor and fragrance, which makes for a very unique candy experience.
