Stencil of the Month & Glitter Glaze of the Month

Stencil of the Month & Glitter Glaze of the Month

Have you ever had an idea in your head for a card, you sit down to create, and then it morphs into more?  It's Cassie here with another card for you, but this time I have 2 cards!  I started out by spraying some Locomotive Surface Spray onto some Whitewash Cardstock through the February Stencil of the Month, and loved what I got.  I noticed I had a decent amount of Surface Spray on my stencil still, so I grabbed some Lunch Bag Cardstock, and placed the stencil spray side down onto the cardstock.  When I lifted it away, it was like (que the music) ahhhhhhhh!  The detail on that stencil has me all happy and all smiles :)

To finish this card, I cut a circle into my panel, and then stamped some of the birdhouses from the Feathered Home set onto a Whitewash card base using Locomotive Surface Ink.  I white heat embossed the sentiment using some Embossing Ink and Alabaster Embossing Powder onto a strip of cardstock that I colored with my Locomotive Surface Ink.  I popped my Lunch Bag card panel up using some Brutus Monroe Foam Tape.

For this next card (which was my original idea), I paired up my Circle Simple Blend along with the Glitter Glaze of the Month - Morning Glory.  That stuff is soooo beautiful!  Once again, I stamped my birdhouses using the Locomotive Surface Ink, and heat embossed my sentiment like before, but this time I used a sentiment from the Tree of Thanks set.

I love how one card idea morphed into another just by spraying a stencil!  If you'd like to see exactly how I made these, you can see them HERE on my YouTube Channel.

Thanks for stopping by!
