Stamp Club Bouquet

Stamp Club Bouquet

This month's Stamp Club stamp is such a fun one to play with! Not only is it great for creating Mother's Day cards with, but you can also create fun backgrounds, embellishments, and general cards with it as well.

I loved stamping out this little image so I used my Misti to stamp quite a few of them! Some of them I fussy cut and turned into embellishments and journaling cards, and some of them I used as a one-layer card background.

This card was really quite simple to assemble, because like I mentioned, once the bouquet image was stamped all over the background, all I had to do was color them in. I used my Prismacolor pencils to add some color to the flowers, and then layered the background piece over a slightly larger piece of black cardstock. This helped the bouquet layer to stand out against the white card base.

After my background piece was stamped, colored, and layered, I added a "hello" sentiment using a die cut from my stash. I love the little sentiment that comes with the set saying "happy you day!", but I wanted to make this card a little more generic.

I was also able to use a few of those fussy-cut bouquets to create some embellishments that I can later throw onto another card, tag, or in my planner.

So much fun to play with this stamp set! If you haven't checked out the Stamp Club yet, please do so! Its only $5 per month, and that includes shipping! You will receive a 2x3 stamp set each month that is exclusive to the Club first.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and as always, happy crafting!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
