Easy Watercolor Background + Conservatory of Quotes
Welcome back! Today's card features a super quick and easy watercolor background as well as the floral image from Conservatory of Quotes. The background is some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist that was loosely painted on in a striped pattern.
Next, the floral image was stamped out on watercolor paper twice using Raven Detail Ink. The first image was fully fussy cut out, and then just a few of the flowers were cut out of the second image. The flowers were then also watercolored using some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.
The gold heart embellishment is a sticker that was applied over vellum and then cut out and adhered on top of the floral image. The watercolored flowers were applied around the heart using some foam adhesive.
The sentiment, "love", was die cut from some black cardstock and adhered down over the heart. Some tiny pieces of foam adhesive were cut and used to pop up the sentiment, and then it was brushed with some silver Wink of Stella.
The last few steps to finish the card was to first die cut a scalloped border on the bottom of the watercolor panel, and then adhere it down to the card base with a piece of gold glitter washi tape behind it.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed a look at this simple card. The floral image just makes the whole thing pop!
Until next time,
Marie Nicole
