Rainy Day

Rainy Day

Crafting friends,

My card for today is a bit more involved then usual. I started with three layers of die cut clouds in different shades of gray on a fourth shade of gray card layer.  I used the Brutus Monroe downpour stencil to create the rain. I applied the Brutus Monroe embossing ink through the stencil then the Brutus Monroe sterling embossing powder. The puddle was also embossed with sterling embossing powder. Brutus Monroe locomotive surface ink was used to create shadowing on the ground.

Finally, I added the rabbit figure from the Brutus Monroe Be Unique stamp set colored with Copic markers. To add to the total effect, I applied wink of Stella to the rabbit's glasses.  This layer was put on a black card layer and affixed to a yellow card base.

Enjoy.
