One Stamp Two Cards

 Hello Crafty Friends,

I have created two cards today with the Floral Frenzy background stamp by Brutus Monroe.  I wanted to take this opportunity to show card makers that sometimes simple is elegant and efficient. I hope you look at your stamps and see them as an opportunity to create elegant cards in a simple way. 

I made a fun birthday card using an ink blended card base which I then embossed the floral stamp image in Alabaster embossing powder over the blended background. Next I added a die cut of Happy in black and added a small banner with Birthday stamped in Raven Detail Ink to complete the card front.  Attached the card front to a black card base and this fun and festive card is finished.

The second card was made as an all occasion card. I simply stamped the Floral Frenzy background stamp using Brutus Monroe Raven Detail Ink on colored card stock and cut it down to the size I thought looked good and attached to the white card base. I added a strip of contrasting card stock and added a die cut word to complete this simple card. A few dew drops added to the card gave it a bit of dimension and glitz.
