One Last Christmas Card with Jess - Conservatory of Quotes

Hey everyone! If you celebrate, Merry Christmas Eve to you! If not, happy Monday! I'm going to be sharing one last Christmas card for this year. So let's check it out!

To start off this card, I grabbed my Mini MISTI and the gorgeous floral image from Conservatory of Quotes. I used Raven Detail Ink to stamp out the image and then colored it using Copic Markers (I used R59 and R6 for the flowers and G99, G94, and G43 for the leaves).

I grabbed my Aqua pigments in Yellow-Green and Green and got to mixing. I used these colors to paint my background. Then, I flicked on some drops of the more pigmented color to add a little more interest.

Once I finished my background and let it dry completely, I used Embossing Ink around the edges of my card front. I used Gilded (at this point no one should be surprised by this) Embossing Powder and heat set it. This gave a pretty golden border around the edges. I mounted the card front to a white panel and then again on a red panel. I drew on some 'stitched' detail with a gold gel pen to help tie things together. I added a few little clear drops and some gold sequins and that finished off my card.

I hope you love this card and that you did better than me with sending out your holiday cards (spoiler alert, I sent basically none LOL). Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
