Mosaic Butterfly Gatefold Card by Samantha
Samantha cut her Not your Mama's cardstock to 5-1/2" x 11." She scored at 1-1/4", 3-1/2", 7 1/2", 9-1/4" and folded along the score lines as shown in photo. She stamped, colored, and fussy cut the butterfly image. The colored image was cut the half (along the midline).
Next, Samanthat stamped and cut the image two more times. The uncolored images were folded in half for the "right" and "left" sides of the butterfly. The right colored image was glued to the "right" uncolored & folded images. This was repeated for the left side.
Two strips (width: 2-6/16", length: 5") of Be Mine paper were cut and scored as above. The strips were adhered to white card base and excesses were cut off. Each half the of the butterfly were attached to right and left "flaps." The back pattern paper panel was cut at 3-13/16 x 5-7/16 and adhered to the inside of her card.
