MASK-erade Blog Hop!

MASK-erade Blog Hop!

Welcome, crafty friends! We are excited for this week's hop, because it is all about MASKING! Masking is a great technique you can use to build scenes and stretch your stamps. You can use masking to add or take away from your images!

Masking can sometimes seem intimidating at first, but once you try it so many opportunities in your crafting open up! Brutus Monroe has some absolutely perfect MASKING PAPER that you can stamp on, cut out, and then use to mask off scenes on your cards or projects. The paper is sticking enough to stay on your paper even when ink blending, but will not tear your paper when carefully lifted off.

Nadine used this masking paper to build a gorgeous leaf frame around her card using just a few stamp images. This is a perfect example of how to get that layered look on a one-layer card.

We cant wait for you to get hopping and see what the team has created to share this week! We know you won't be disappointed. Please hop along, and dont forget to leave some love on their blogs! Happy hopping!!
