Circular Stenciled Valentine | Cards with Ashley

Hey crafty people! It's Ashley here on the blog and today I have a circular card design using some Glitter Glaze and the Stencil of the Month.

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth paper taped down to a board. I then did some Distress Oxide ink blending on it with the colors Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. Next I placed the stencil over it and taped it down. I used the colors Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry to blend the stencil design onto my paper.

Once the blending was done I used a palette knife to go over the stencil with some Glitter Glaze. I used the color Fallen Snow, which is a really sparkly clear texture paste. Once that was nice and smoothed out I carefully lifted the stencil while the glaze was still wet and set the paper aside to dry.

Once the glaze finished drying I used a large circle die to cut it. I then took a slightly larger circle die and created a circular card base. I picked out a sentiment from the Love Bug stamp set and embossed it with white on black card stock. I then fussy cut the sentiment with scissors and popped it up on the card.

To finish up the card I added a few sequins and then I went over the sentiment with Wink of Stella.
