You're Tweet with Reactive foil background

Did you get to play with Brutus Monroe’s Spring release yet? If not, join me as I create using some of the products from the release.

Let's get right into creating this card.

On a water color panel I created a background using Chroma Mists in Pink, Lilac Purple and Yellow Orange using the Leaf Up close stencil. This left clear space where the leaf veins are. Once this panel was dry I colored the clean spaces with black copic marker so that it would look like tree branches in a forest.

Once everything was dry it was time to add a surprise element.. the Magical Shattered Glass foil transfer sheet! This foil reacts with our chroma glaze. I used the Opal glaze; once again lining up the stencil exactly as before. Once this glaze was dry I put the foil over it and passed it through the laminator to set the foil. And once you pull of that sheet, its magic! Shattered glass effect makes the background panel just shimmer and shine with different holographic sort of colors.

Now to add the elements I stamped everything in Raven Black ink, heat set and used my copies to color everything. I used the You’re Tweet set for this. Dimension is key and so I added foam tape to adhere all of my card elements to the background panel which was mounted onto a A2 sized card base.

What do you think about the background? Have you played with transfer foil sheets before? Give it a try if you own a laminator and some chroma glaze! And do check out the Spring Collection and all the inspiration from the Inspiration Team members.

That's all from me today! Until next time; happy crafting.
