When I Grow Up: Astronaut

When I Grow Up: Astronaut

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
It's release week here at Brutus Monroe and all week we will be showcasing the new product releasing Saturday September 30th! Such an exciting release at that.
Today I'm showing one of the When I Grow Up series stamps called Astronaut. This series of stamps, dedicated to little girls, is an encouraging set to let them know they can be whatever they what to be when they grow up! This is such a cute stamp set with lots of encouraging sentiments and I paired it with another stamp set Brutus Monroe has called Lucky Stars.

For my background I did an ink resist technique. I stamped images from the Lucky Stars stamp set and heat embossed it with Alabaster embossing powder. Next I made a rainbow galaxy with distress oxide inks and spritzed the background with shimmer spray.
I cut the side panel with a scalloped die an popped it up on foam tape.
I colored the little astronaut with copic markers and popped her on foam tape and placed her on the card. She is so stinking cute! I added some star gems to the card and my card was finished.
I hope you enjoyed today's card and thanks for stopping by!
