Welcome to the Jungle Card
This week I was inspired by the Discovery channel. I happened to be watching it as I worked on my projects. I also had listened to Guns and Roses earlier in the morning. So, it really is not that much of a stretch on how I came up with this card design.
I think it would make a great 21st Birthday card.
I trimmed down a sheet of black card stock about 1/2 inch smaller than my card base.
I embossed it with a fun reptile like texture.
I die cut circles and inked the edges from the background I made using the Surface Ink and Scratch background that I demoed on May 7 here on the blog.
I die cut another circle and stamped a sentiment from the Hello Beautiful set.
I then pulled out the Brutus Monroe peg alphabet that Christopher actually wrote all the letters for! I stamped another sentiment inspired by Guns and Roses as well as the Discovery channel. Plus the circles remind me of snake skin. It just makes sense.
I put the card together.
I finished it off with a little bling,
