Velveteen Night Skies
Hello everyone! Jenn here today, sharing a fun card I created using Velveteen Glazes and Aqua Pigments with a gelli plate!
This was just a thought I had when pondering what to create this week. I was super excited to see how well the Velveteen Glazes work on a gelli plate. I used Fresh Kale,Pumpkin Patch, and Night Sky Velveteen Glazes and added drops of Aqua Pigments in Violet and Fuschia. For a background on the gelli plate I used an ivory acrylic paint. To create the background I applied the glazes and pigments with a brayer onto a gelli plate. I then used the Tapestry stencil. After a marathon of printing was done I then had to choose which one I liked best for my card.
In my stash was this alcohol inked Owl Love You Stamp and it looked great with the background I chose! After placing the stamped image and sentiment I felt it needed something a bit darker so I inked the edges in a darker blue using the Chevron stencil. This card is 5 1/2" X 7" with a base of Raven black cardstock and a blue matte. In the end I also added some fun washi!
