These Lovely Dolls

These Lovely Dolls

Hello crafty friends! Another week has come & this week I'm pretty excited to share these Mixed Media Tags that I created. This week our featured products from Brutus Monroe are the Chroma Glaze. I originally had thought of making some ATC cards but then I remembered that I had come across these neat tags that have a resist design on them. They are plain white so I first created a mask for the middle section of the tag and sprayed some shimmer sprays on there. I then go over that masked area with some Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves and Dried Marigold as well as inking the edges of the tags. I then used the Chroma Glaze on a non brand flower row stencil from my stash, alternating the colors. I stenciled right over the center where I applied the distress inks.

I set them aside to dry and then stamped out the small Prima Doll using Brutus Monroe Raven Ink on some white card stock and then stamped the Prima Doll outfit on some design paper that had similar colors of the Glazes. This is so I could paper piece the outfits which I love doing especially since I'm not to great at coloring. I do however color the face and hair on these dolls. Before adding these onto the tags, I used some Gloss White Nuvo Embellishment drops to the center of the flowers that I stenciled. Then I added the stamped image propping it up with some Helmar Dimensional

Dotz and added a sticker sentiment from a booklet that has a variety of words, sentiments, etc.

I really loved using these Chroma Glazes', they are just like the pens which I love too! I hope that you like what I came up with this week! I highly recommend these Chroma Glazes whether you purchase these in the tubs or the pens, they are both as equally AMAZING! Well I'll be back later this week and I do hope that you are all staying home and keeping safe! Much love!!

Hope you like this week's project! See ya next week!!
