Today's card is one we all have to send from time to time and gain comfort knowing the receiver may have gotten a brief moment of happiness knowing someone cares about them in their time of grief.
This card was made by using a brayer to spread reinker ink from Brutus Monroe in aubergine and rouge to create the background stripe. To this background I added flicks of the same two inks.
The next step was to add some flower die cuts and emboss the sentiment in alabaster on the inked area. The sentiment is from the Sharon's Script stamp set from Brutus Monroe. Next, I die cut a butterfly out of Brutus Monroe shimmer paper and added the next layer of the butterfly in raven cardstock. The butterfly is mounted using foam tape over a nest of silver thread. Finally, I added a few acrylic bubbles from Brutus Monroe. This card layer one is then glued to the purple card base.
