Sunflower Sunshine

Sunflower Sunshine

Hello! Today we are featuring a card made with the August Stamp of the Month Club Sunflower stamp.  There is so much that you can do with this stamp and sentiment set. The sentiment could also be used on so many other projects.

I began by cutting an A2 size panel of Midnight cardstock.  Then I used the largest and second from largest Hexagon die from the Foundation Dies Hexagon set to create a frame using Phonebook cardstock.

I stamped out the sunflower stamp multiple times using Raven Detail Ink, this ink is a great copic friendly ink. Once I had the sunflowers colored I fuzzy cut them out and attached die cut leaves from a Lawn Fawn leaf set using Cabbage cardstock

The sentiment is embossed using Alabaster embossing powder inside of the hexagon. I love the two different types of font in this sentiment.  I used foam tape to add dimension to the outside sunflowers and adhered the middle sunflower flush to the panel.

This card was super simple to complete using and would be a great card to give to the person who brings sunshine to your life.

Have a great day!!
