Summer Vibes

Hey friends!

I'm back with another card tutorial for you today. I couldn't get enough of last week's Color Crush Inspiration Team Hop, so I'm sharing another card with that theme today. I'm crushing hard on these bright summer colors.

I started this card off by doing some ink blending on to white card stock. I used Jack O Lantern and Zest surface inks and two of the Pink & Main surface inks (Boutique and The Park).

Once my blending was done I used Zest ink to stamp the cute popsicle image from Sprinkled with Love on to my background. I liked how this almost gave the effect of tone on tone, but I didn't have to do all the work of stamping in multiple colors. Hooray!

I stamped and cut out an extra popsicle. I popped this one up on foam on my background. I also cut a black strip of card stock and heat embossed 'stay cool' in Alabaster Embossing Powder.

I popped the whole panel up on foam tape and added a few clear sequins. I mounted the card front on a white A2 sized card panel and that finished my card!

I hope this card has you ready for flip flops and all things summer - It certainly made me want to hit the pool!
