Stormy Sky Fiber Paper Technique

Stormy Sky Fiber Paper Technique

Hello crafty friends! On my live this week, I created a fun stormy background using Fiber Paper, Chroma Mist and  Alabaster embossing powder,

This was my first experience using the new Fiber Paper. Can I just tell you I LOVE it! I know I have barely scratched the surface when it comes to what you can create using this stuff.

I used my Rectangle Foundation Dies to cut a panel and a mat for this card. I cut a 3 ¾”x 5” rectangle from the fiber paper and a 4”x 5 ¼” rectangle for my panel.

Use a stamp buddy to prepare your fiber paper for embossing.

Stamp cloud image using embossing ink in desired pattern.

Pour Alabaster embossing powder onto your fiber panel

and tap off the excess.

Use your heat tool to emboss your pattern.

Place your panel in a spray bucket. Using your Cobalt Blue Chroma Mist, spritz your panel. Lightly mist with water and let the color spread.

At this point you can use your heat tool  to help dry, you can blot it too if you want more subtle color.

Create your own ending!
