Stamped Background

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today I would like to share with you a simple yet elegant birthday card made with Brutus Monroe stamps. This A2 card has a salmon colored base with a simple alabaster layer stamped with the hexagon shape from the Abstract Art stamp set. This layer was die cut using the stitched rectangle die to add a bit of dimension. I randomly stamped the shape in three different colors from the Pink & Main surface ink collection. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the Alabaster layer in Raven ink. The layer was then attached using foam tape. I next stamped a butterfly from an earlier Inspiration Box stamp set in Raven onto a piece of watercolor paper from the Brutus Monroe watercolor paper pad. The butterfly was attached using foam tape also. Finally, I added a few sequins to give a little sparkle to the card.

I hope you enjoyed this birthday card and are inspired to create your own version of it. Please share those creations with us at Brutus Monroe Facebook Fan page.

Enjoy
