Spring Pop-up

Spring Pop-up

With spring about to pop-up, I thought I'd share a bright and easy pop-up card. This uses some basic supplies and a little bit of folding. I started with a top folding A2 card base and scored the front at the halfway mark – 2.75" I cut two pieces of plaid paper from the Sophisticated Spring paper pad 4" X 2.5" each to fit on each panel on the front of the card. I used the rain boot from the Puddle Jumping die set and flowers form Fabulous Florals. The boot was cut out of glitter paper but everything else was cut from paper I sprayed in different color Chroma Mists.

I added a cluster of flowers in the bottom right corner and also filled the rain boot with a bouquet of flowers, all from the Fabulous Florals die set. I adhered the bottom half of the boot to the lower panel on the front of the card. I only put adhesive on the bottom half so that when the card is folder up, the rain boot bouquet will pop up.

On the inside of the card, I placed one of the sentiments from Puddle Jumping on foam adhesive in the bottom right corner. This created a holder for the front of the card so that it will remain in the upright position.

On the inside I also layered another piece of patterned paper from Sophisticated Spring at 4" X 5.25" and added a piece of white cardstock on top sized at 3.75" X 5."

To see a live demo of the card, you can watch the replay where I created it live.
