Rub-a-Dub-Dub, Waddles and HELLO
Welcome by, everyone! It's your creative friend, Karen Letchworth, posting here for my very first time today. I hope you enjoy my art, and I really hope that it inspires you to go check out all the FAB products at Brutus Monroe. These cards were created using lots of great products from Brutus Monroe. I've sure had FUN using ALL the goodies in this box of endless creativity. One thing y'all will learn about me is that I'm chatty/detailed, and my blog posts are lengthy (sorry, and hopefully you'll grow to enjoy my ramblings...lol).
I used the Splish Splash Inspiration Box to create these sweet cards. This lovely Inspiration Box includes the cardstocks, stamps, the darling brick stencil, the ribbons, foiling sheets (I cut up into the bubbles you see), duck pin, pretty sequins, and SO much more. I've been making SO many cute cards with this FUN box of goodies. I also used several Tim Holtz Oxide Inks on the background of my card - using the stencil from the Inspiration Box.
You know how sometimes we get into a "creative funk" and just lose our mojo? Well, I know it happens to me now and then. The Brutus Monroe Inspiration Box is a great way to get back that creative spark. You open the box, and you feel a challenge to get creative and see what you can come up using ALL these great products.
My second card uses more of the versatile products in the Splish Splash Inspiration Box. I used another one of the foiling sheets (I didn't foil it) and colored the bubbles for my background. Another piece of the gorgeous silk ribbon from the box, and that darling sentiment and cute duck. How adorable is this box? It's a must have.
For my third card, I got away from the whole duck/bath theme to show the true versatility of the Inspiration Box. I used the darling rainboots image found in the stamp set you get with the Splish Splash Box along with a the HELLO sentiment in the stamp set. This cards gives you a different Spring or anytime option.
Again I used the pretty silky ribbons found in the Inspiration Box. I used them across my card as well as in a pretty bow. I added a floral accent and lots of those pretty sequins found in the Inspiration Box. They're lovely, and each Inspiration Box has a different blend of colors to compliment the set. LOTS of fun and creativity await you at Brutus Monroe.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll be sharing another FUN card (or two) again here next month using the Splish Splash Inspiration Box. It's filled with FUN and endless creativity. You can always find me here on my personal blog, My Cup Runneth Over. Have a great day, and hey....why not treat yourself today to an Inspiration Box? You deserve it, and you'll LOVE it.
Have a creative day, everyone. - Karen
