Sparkling Moonlight
Hello everyone! Jenn here today! This week we were tasked with one of my favorite projects, ATC's! I just love to create these wonderful little pieces of art.
I chose a color palette of blues and purples using the amazing Aqua Pigments in Fuschia, Turquoise, Magenta, Red Violet, Delphinium, and Black.
To begin I coated four of the ATC Blanks in White Gesso and let that dry. Next I added some dimension and texture using Media Paste through the Tapestry Stencil in small areas on each ATC.
I added my colors using the Aqua Pigments alternating colors and drying with a heat tool in between each. To add some black I added stamping using a leaf stamp from the Falliday stamp set with Raven Detail Ink. I added some butterflies using the Butterfly Sentiments Stamp Set. For some sparkle I sprinkled an iridescent turquoise embossing powder to the butterflies and small areas of the stenciling.
To finish off my ATC's I added some sentiment stickers and mounted them on slightly bigger black mattes.
