So Egg-citing!

So Egg-citing!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by! I wanted to share an idea using stamps and dies from the new Bunny Hugs set. I used the dies to make a stencil - this is a good way to stretch your supplies!

I used the egg dies from the set and randomly cut them out of a panel of layering weight cardstock - if you have stencil material, you can use that and then your stencil will last longer, especially if you are wanting to use a wet medium like glitter glaze.

Once the stencil is cut, then we can start ink blending and the new Stick & Stamp Mat makes it so much easier! I used small blending brushes to ink blend different colors of eggs all over my background.

The next step is to add stamped eggs onto the stenciled eggs! I love this look, I used tone on tone colors but you could do all kinds of different things - embossing powder, heat and stick powder and then foil, the possibilities are endless!

I cut down a panel from the background, added on a sentiment and some sequins and this card is finished!

I'd love to see your creations using dies as stencils - tag me on Instagram: @purple_puppy_papercrafting
