Snowflakes and Snow Globes

Snowflakes and Snow Globes

Hello friends! Heather B. here!  Did you know that Brutus Monroe has a series of stamps called City Sidewalks? They are beautifully illustrated snow globes by Chuck Carlson. There are currently twelve available from Pittsburgh to Sydney. They are size 3 X 4 and there is also a coordinating die

These stamps can be used for any project or occasion. Today I used the Pittsburgh snow globe to create a Christmas card.

To began, the background was created using black and yellow aqua pigments. Once it had dried I added snowflakes using The Miracle of Nature background stamp and Alabaster embossing powder

The Pittsburgh Snow Globe is heat embossed with Alabaster embossing powder on Midnight cardstock.  The coordinating die was used for the snow globe and it was adhered to the panel using foam tape to give it dimension. Nuvo White Blizzard drops were added to give the appearance of snow in the globe.

The final step was adding the sentiment "Merry Christmas" on heat embossed with Raven embossing powder on Phonebook cardstock.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you will check out the City Sidwalks stamps and create something fun full of memories for someone in your life!

Have a great day!
