Snow globe

Hi fellow stampers!

I am sharing a card I made with the Brutus Monroe Empty Snow Globe stamp and the Home Sweet Home stamp set. I love how combining the sets creates a beautiful winter scene perfect for a Christmas card.

I started with some Christmas plaid for my first layer. I stamped the globe and house on alabaster card stock. Next, I cut out both images.  I colored the  images using StyleFile  markers available at Brutus Monroe. (Markers are alcohol and blend wonderfully. They are a great value for only $3.50 each and the nibs are very similar to Copics. They are the closest match to Copics that I have found.)

I finished up by making a fishtail banner and embossed my sentiment from the Gingerbread Village stamp set in Alabaster.  I assembled all the pieces and added a few sequins and added some Glossy Accents and glitter to the globe to make it look like glass for a little bling. Placed layer on an Alabaster card to complete the project. This would be a great project to assembly line create to get all those Christmas cards done quickly!

Please share your creations with us on the Brutus Monroe Facebook page.

Enjoy
