Quick "Vintage" Holiday Card!
Happy Tuesday!
Thanks for stopping by today! It's Kim and I'd love to share this awesome fast simple card I made.
The season is upon us so quick, things get hectic and there's always a last moment need for a card. This seasonal card would suit any occasion, even a thank you note.
I picked the Sketched Holiday stamp set to use with the fabulous poinsettias!
I inked the stamp with my Brutus Monroe embossing ink and heat embossed it with shiny copper powder onto a piece of heavy water color paper. Next, picked some Distress Inks in the colors I had on hand. I love the quick water color-look, so I sprayed the embossed card with water and then touched the colors into the spots. Let it dry, I did nudge it along with my embossing heat gun, carefully so I didn't spoil the copper color.
I used the inkpad to edge around the card in brown Distress ink, then smeared it with water on my fingers to achieve a vintage-look.
Attach the decorated face to the card blank and done!
Have a wonderful week!
