Purple Tag Card Using Watercolor Pencils and Scratch Background Stamp
Today I am sharing with you a beautiful purple card made with the watercolor pencil background Scratch Sheet I created and die cut with the tag dies as well as a few other Brutus Monroe goodies.

First thing I did was die cut two tags and stamped one with the Enchanted Rose Background stamp and Raven ink.

I then stamped the other smaller tag with a sentiment from the Hello Beautiful stamp set.

I pulled the gorgeous purple paper for the background.

I inked up the Scratch Background stamp with Raven ink and stamped it.

I cut it down and inked the edges.

I adhered the tags and ran the first one through ribbon.

I repeated with the second tag running it through the other end of the ribbon.

I tied a bow at the top of the tags.

I adhered it to the card base that I made with another sheet from the same set of paper.

I am still amazed at how one stamp can take on such a different look by using different mediums. I really like the contrast from subtle watercolor to fierce scratch.

Lastly, I added two pearls.

Make sure you come back next week for an edgy fun card in which I use the last of the background sheets I created on May 7. From beautiful and delicate to masculine and wild is what this series embeds -- all from one stamp: Scratch Background.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
