Primary Colors Rainbow Sequence and the Feathered Homes Stamp

Primary Colors Rainbow Sequence and the Feathered Homes Stamp

Hey y'all! Thanks for joining me on the Inspiration Team Blog today. There's nothing in the craft world more beautiful than the rainbow sequence. I used it last week with the Uppercase Alphabet Stamps card. This week, I have a CAS card for you that features the birdhouses from the Feathered Homes Stamp Set

To begin, I stamped out the birdhouses in a staggered row with some Raven Detail Ink. Then, I extended the poles of each image with a Mono .5mm fine liner pen.

I got out my alcohol markers in primary colors along with a pastel version of each, and colored them in. I started with the lighter color first and then added the more saturated color over it for shading. I added a very light blue around all the colored images to give the appearance of a sky background.

I trimmed down the panel to about 2.5 inches by 4.25 inches and popped it up on some foam on the front of an A2-sized card base. Then I stamped out the sentiment "welcome home" from the same stamp set and trimmed it down to a fletched strip and popped it up, as well.

This color palette is universally loved and can easily be used for a guy or a girl or a whole family moving in to a new house or celebrating a birthday. It's kind of an all occasion color palette.

I appreciate you joining me today, and big thanks to my friends who use my affiliate links. It really does help me continue to blog and create and inspire, and at no additional cost to you. If you would like to purchase any of the items I mentioned above, you'll find them in a grid below for your convenience.

Thanks again for hanging out with me today. Have a crafty week and remember to create your own ending!
