Pattern Paper Focal Point

Pattern Paper Focal Point

Hey everyone! It's Jessica. Today I'm sharing a fun card using the beautiful Bold Rainbows pattern paper, and some other fun things to really amp up this simple design.
I'm using the "Hi" from the Super Sentimental set and heat embossing it with Alabaster embossing powder on to a piece of vellum. I also used the Fussy cutting scissors to trim the "Hi" out.

The first thing I did though, was turn on my laminator. It is hard to see, but the circle that the "Hi!' is on is a die cut foil piece. I used the DecoFoil Toner sheets and Tide Pool transfer foil together. Ran those pieces through the laminator once it was warmed up. This transfers the foil to the toner sheets and makes it easy to die cut with any dies you might have. I used a stitch circle die. I also adhered that to dark red craft foam cut using the same circle die.
The Bold Rainbows pattern paper pack has this beautiful stripey rainbow burst. I trimmed that piece of paper down so that it fit behind the rectangle die cut in the gray cardstock. I wanted to focus on the smallest burst point. before adhering those two pieces together I took some black in and blended it lightly around the edges with a makeup blending brush.
Those were adhered together then I also used Brutus Monroe Raven and Alabaster pigment ink to splatter, for a fun texture look. Once dry I mounted those pieces to a standard A2 card base. Then added the sentiment circle.
For a final step I adhered a scattering of the Acrylic Bubbles, following the lines of the Bold Rainbow pattern paper.
Thanks for stopping by today! I appreciate you joining me.
Jessica ❤

I adore this…rainbows are my jam! The drops are a great accent to your card too.
