On Textured Wings
Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a fun, colorful card using a mix of products from Brutus Monroe to create texture and color.
For this card I started with white cardstock to create a panel to work on. This measures 4 5/8 X 5 7/8.

Next...The fun of mixing colors with texture paste to create magic!
Start by adding a small amount of Media Paste to a palette or glass mat. I do this using a palette knife. I also keep baby wipes handy to wipe off the excess before mixing my next color.
If your paste becomes thin just add a bit more of the paste into your mixture and stir again.
There are so many beautiful colors of Aqua Pigments available! The possibilities are endless. They are also available in metallics for that extra sparkle!
Next I created the background panel by using my tinted pastes through my stencil.

I used the Butterfly Wings Die Cutting Set to make my butterfly. I used black cardstock for the solid die and a newsprint paper for my main die. These were connected with adhesive applied just to the middle portion. For my sentiment "Thanks" I have used the Extra Sentimental stamp set with Raven Detail Ink.
Assembly....
The stenciled panel was adhered to a black card base leaving some of the black as a border. Next the black strip and white stamped strip were added to the middle. The butterfly was adhered at an angle.
This was such a fun way to create texture!
Thanks so much for visiting the blog and viewing my project today! As always have an amazing crafty day!
Jenn
