Obsidian Chroma Glaze Night Sky

Obsidian Chroma Glaze Night Sky

Hey there, it's Cassie back with another project for you!  Let's get right into it.  I started with a piece of watercolor paper that I cut down to 4" x 5 1/4" and centered that behind the Circle Simple Blends.  I pulled out some Obsidian Chroma Glaze and used my palette knife to spread that beautiful goodness across the Simple Blend.  I removed it, washed it off, and waited for the Chroma Glaze to dry.  When it was fully dry I put the Simple Blend back over my piece and splattered some Picket Fences Distress Paint to make it look like a night sky.

I then stamped my snowman and the scarf from the Build a Snowman stamp set onto some watercolor paper and watercolored the images.  I fussy cut those out right on the line.

Next I stamped my sentiment from the Gingerbread Village stamp set onto some red cardstock using some Embossing Ink.  After covering that with some Alabaster Embossing Powder, I heat set it until it was smooth and melted.  I put some Foam Tape on my banner and attached that to the front of my card, and then I used some Craft Glue to attach my snowman.

And that was it!  Talk about a fun card using lots of fun products.  You can catch me again this same time next week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cassie

Like your idea of using the obsidian as a night sky. Neat. Thanks for sharing.
