New Foils And Toner Sheets!
Happy Friday crafty friends! Lauren here, and I am SO excited to be sharing two cards with you today! This morning Brutus Monroe is releasing some brand new DecoFoil colors and brand new toner sheets for foiling, and they are AWESOME! You can view the entire new release by clicking HERE . Not only are there fabulous Halloween designs, but there are beautiful Christmas designs too!
For this first card, I started with a sheet of Raven cardstock, and the Paint Spots stencil. I squished my embossing ink pad down over the stencil, and heat embossed it with Alabaster EP. I sliced one of the clear "Carved" toner sheets into 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch pieces and ran one through the laminator with some of the new orange sketch foil. I die cut a rectangle from the middle of the dot-embossed panel, and attached the clear foiled sheet to the back. I lined the back with foam tape and sprinkled some black sequins in, before closing off the back with a piece of Alabaster cardstock. After stamping the sentiment from the Trick or Treat stamp set in Raven ink onto Alabaster cardstock, I stamped over it again with embossing ink, and used Icicle (clear) EP over the top to give it texture and shine.
For this second card, I use a clear "Webbed" toner sheet, and some of the new Gold Static foil. I trimmed it down to a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece and ran it through my laminator. I heat embossed the sentiment in Gilded EP onto Raven cardstock and trimmed it down, then adhered it with foam tape onto the clear foiled panel. Using glue behind the area that was covered by the sentiment, I adhered the clear foiled sheet to a piece of Marsala cardstock. I matted that on a slightly larger piece of Raven cardstock, and then on a slightly larger piece of Gilded Glitterstock to finish it off.
Over the next few days, the inspiration team will be showing off some of the really cool holiday toner sheets, and the gorgeous new foils! Hurry to the website to grab some of these awesome new releases!
