Merry Selfie Christmas Card

Merry Selfie Christmas Card

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I'm still working on a few last minute Christmas cards, and today I'm using the Merry Selfie stamp that came out last year in the monthly stamp club. Which it's still available in the Brutus Monroe store.
For today's card I used Tombow watercolor markers to stamp the trees only onto watercolor paper. I used a dark green (249) and colored on the tree on the stamp. I stamped five trees to start creating my background. I colored the trees in with a lighter green (173) and used a water brush to blend lightly. I used the grey (N55) to add shading under my trees, and a white Signo pen to add snow. I then ink the background with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and used water droplets and Perfect Pearls for the illusion of snow on the ink blended areas.
I then stamped the entire stamp on watercolor paper with Brutus Monroe Detail ink, you can use this ink to watercolor and it's safe to use with your alcohol markers. I used two reds for the Santa glove (856,847) and a Marvy Snow Pen to create the fur look on the glove. For the tree and camera I used the same greens and grey as before. I added Wink of Stella to all of the trees and the Santa glove, and finished by adding the Merry Selfie sentiment that came with the stamp.
Thanks for stopping by!
