Look to the Lillies!
Lillies are a sign of spring and with the Lovely Lillies stamp set you can spread that spring light with a sweet sentiment. I used the stamp set with Chroma Mist to create some bold and beautiful blooms.
I saturated several pieces of paper with Chroma Mists in red and coral, letting the colors run together. I also covered some in Leaf Green and Yellow Green. Once dry, I stamped the images several times in Raven ink. I cut out several flowers, cutting smaller sections each time then layering them with foam adhesive for a 3D effect. I did the same with the leaves.
I added some highlights with a white paint and grouped the flowers and leaves in a cluster atop a circle die cut out of mirror paper over a scalloped circle cut from vellum.
For the background, I used the Psyanka Easter Pattern stencil with Glitter Glaze. The sentiment was stamped in Raven ink and placed on the circle with foam adhesive. For a final touch I added some iridescent embellishments.
I used a variety of elements with shine to really make this card sparkle and the deep color of the Chroma Mists make the flowers pop out. This really is a simple technique for creating bold, beautiful images.
