Live life in Full Bloom Card/Nicole Martel

Live life in Full Bloom Card/Nicole Martel

Happy Friday friends! Today, I'm going to share with you how I created this 3x4 card using the Fancy Foliage Cutting Die and Aqua Pigments. This card turned out much prettier than what I had pictured originally. I love the cluster of foliage!

First, I cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 6x8 and then scored the cardstock in half to create a card. Next, I ran the metal dies through my Sizzix Machine using white cardstock.

Then, I used a water brush with the Aqua Pigment Inks to color in the foliage. I used a little bit of water to dilute the colors.

Here is what they look like all colored in. Aren't they beautiful?!

Next, I used double sided tape to mount the foliage onto the card and then added some glue to keep them in place. After that, I stamped the "Live life in full bloom" sentiment onto white cardstock and fussy cut it out from the paper. And then I mounted in over the foliage using a foam square.

After that, I used a black pen and a ruler to draw a 1/4" border around the card and then I glued a few gems down.

What do you think? Love the aqua pigments... they added a nice serene feel to this card. Wouldn't you agree?

Thank you so much for visiting today!

Nicole
