Just Hopping By!
Hello Fellow Crafters! Welcome, and Thanks for Stopping By! It may be a bit early, but Spring is in the air, and I'm just hopping by to kick off your first Spring cards of the season! First, you definitely want to start with the Brutus Monroe February's Inspiration Box. From the box, I used one of the Bunny Hugs Card Panels and foiled it using the Rainbow Shattered Glass Decofoil Transfer Sheets. Did you know that you can use the packaging from the Brutus Monroe's Mixed Media Stencils? Yes, they are solid toner sheets! Once I foiled the card panel, I then used the negative and foiled it. I wanted to get some solid foiled images.
Next, I stamped, embossed, and colored one of the bunny images from the enclosed stamp set. I then die-cut the image out using the dies from the box. *Fun Fact: Included in all of the monthly inspiration boxes are the coordinating dies to the stamp sets! Whoohoo! I also stamped the sentiment, "Hopping by to say Hi" and embossed it using the Raven Sparkle Embossing Powder.
To make the card panel centered, I die-cut a frame from black cardstock and fussy cut a few flowers from the negative of the foiled card panel. Time to put it all together! I took the Brutus Monroe Pre Cut & Scored A2 Card Base and adhered my die cut foiled card panel, the black cardstock frame, and my foiled flower buds. Lastly, I used foam tape to adhere my bunny image and my embossed sentiment.
