Just a Note Card

Just a Note Card

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a quick and easy spring card featuring the Inspiration Box paper collection called Sophisticated Spring.
Supplies Used:
 Layering Cardstock: Pink
Inks: Light Pink, Medium Pink, Turquoise,
Light Green and Medium Green
Offray Ribbon: White
This card came together rather quickly.
I started by inking panels (4.25"x5.5") of
inks. I did about a half of the panels in each color. Next, I used the
Brutus Monroe: Raven Detail Ink and stamped the Lilies, a few leaves and one Egg. I fussy cut them out.
Next, I trimmed a panel from one of the papers of Brutus Monroe: Sophisticated Spring 6x6 Paper Collection - for my background. I trimmed another piece of
along with a piece of pink cardstock(about 3/4"). I also cut some scallops from the
Brutus Monroe: Not Your Mama's Cardstock and I trimmed a small 1" piece for the sentiment.
Then, I adhered them to my card base creating layers. I also adhered the white ribbon to the center of the pink cardstock. Next, I adhered the lilies and leaves directly to the card front above the pink pattern paper I did use a bit of thin foam adhesive for a few areas to create dimension . I used foam adhesive for the egg and centered it between the lilies. Next, I stamped the sentiment onto the cardstock piece, trimmed it into a fishtail banner and adhered it to the right hand bottom of the pink pattern paper. Now, for finishing touches I used the Brutus Monroe: Acrylic Bubbles: Blush
