Jingle All The Way - Embossed and Foiled Layers

Hello crafty friends! Lauren here with an aqua and teal holiday card!

I'm on a foiling kick this week; my shaker card for yesterday's blog hop also used one of the Brutus Monroe clear toner sheets. Today I started out by using the Snowflake stencil and squishing the embossing ink pad all over a panel of Alabaster cardstock. I heat embossed the snowflake pattern using the Mermaid Tail embossing powder, which has a really pretty aqua shimmer. I cut down one of the "loopy" clear toner sheets and ran it through my Minc machine with a sheet of Aqua DecoFoil. It's such a pretty aqua shine! I used a fine-tipped glue bottle to dab little drops of glue on the back side of the loopy pattern to adhere the clear foiled sheet over the top of the embossed panel. I cut a strip of Alabaster cardstock and a slightly wider strip of vellum and clipped the ends into a banner shape. I heat embossed the sentiment from the "Jingle All The Way" stamp set, again using the Mermaid Tail EP. I adhered the vellum over the white piece by using the fine-tipped applicator to dab glue behind the embossed lettering. I finished it off with some clear acrylic drops.

The shiny aqua tones are fun for a non-traditional holiday color scheme! How have you used the clear toner sheets? Be sure to share your projects, and use the hashtags #BrutusMonroe and #CreateYourOwnEnding so that we can see what you create!
