Hummingbirds in Flight Dimensional Card by Jenn DuBell
Hello everyone!! Jenn here today sharing a fun card with loads of dimension! I love to create scenes with multiple stamps and then adhere the images at different levels to create a dimensional look. This is exactly how I did this card.
The stamps used here are as follows:
Floral Sentiments 6 X 8 Stamp Set
Hummingbird Flight 5 X 5 Stamp Set
Seeds of Happiness 3 X 4 Stamp Set
I have also used the following Brutus Monroe Products:
Raven Detail Ink
Flakes Die
Foam Tape Black
Other products needed to make this card:
Colored Pencils
Scissors for fussy cutting
Colored Cardstock for backgrounds
Black cardstock for card base and die cut background
This card Measures 6" X 4 3/4" and was done in a landscape flip up style.
All of the images were stamped in Raven Detail Ink on Heavy white Bristol paper and then colored using colored pencils. Next all of the stamped images were fussy cut and set aside.
For the card base a mat in a deep violet and another in a cornflower blue were cut and adhered to the black base. The Flakes Die was cut from black cardstock and adhered to the mats.
I love this die because of the versatility. Although it is meant to be snowflakes it reminds me of an old black iron gate.
I arranged my stamped and colored images how I wanted them and then built my scene using foam adhesive squares and dots.
Thanks so much for visiting the blog and viewing my post today! As always have an amazing crafty day!
Jenn
