How To Create Metallic Rose Gold Roses

How To Create Metallic Rose Gold Roses

Hello! Nadine here today sharing how I created a metallic rose gold effect with the new Botanical Banners stamp set and some Powdered Elements.

I first stamped the Botanical Banner rose stamp on a tag with Surface Ink Rouge. Then using a waterbrush, I colored in the roses with watered down Surface Ink Rouge to get a watercolor look. Once dry, I stamped the Botanical Banner rose stamp directly over the stamped image again with the Sticky Glue Pad. Rubbed on some Powdered Elements in Copper and brushed off the excess. The red color in the Rouge Ink turns the copper powder into a gorgeous rose gold color.

Then I stamped the Be Brave sentiment with the Embossing Ink and sprinkled some Gilded Embossing Powder over it and heat set it. Did the same thing on the edges of the tag by running the edges of the on the Embossing Ink pad and dipping it into the embossing powder.

Thank you so much for visiting!
