Hoppy Spring Stair Step Card
Hello again my friends and “Hoppy'' spring! I am sharing a fun Stair Step card with you. This is a new favorite for me. I love that I can utilize all the little steps to embellish with all kinds of goodies! I have had my eye on this adorable Fern and Willard stamp set from Photoplay Paper and it was perfect for this project. I hope you are branching out and trying some new crafty things too.
Cut a card base at 8 1/2 x5 ½ . Score at 4 ¼ .
So using the guide marks on your trimmer (see video) Cut a slit at 2 ¾ (centered if holding card landscape and unfolded) and starting at the 1”mark cutting up to 6 ⅜”.
Score from the center slit to the edge of the right side at 1, 2, 3 ⅛, 4 ¼, and 6 ⅜.
Use a crease tool/bone folder to sharpen up folds. Make sure to fold along the score lines in the right directions (see video).
Cut a panel from printed cardstock to 2 ½ x 4. This is your panel for the left side of your card front.
Cut a 1” X 11” strip of green card stock and use a scallop border punch or another border punch or die of your choice.
Now cut 3 strips from it at 5 ½, and 2 at 2 ¾ long. Now you have your grass for the front and 2 steps.
